Serial Port Control is an inexpensive royalty-free ActiveX component. You can use it with any ActiveX-enabled development environment, such as VC++, VB, Delphi, etc. Just put it on a form and vou've got all the functionality you need to access an RS232 port. The event driven architecture makes it a snap to use. Just define a function in your program and it will be triggered automatically when new bata is available through the port.
Serial Port Control allows you to overcome the complexity of the Win32 Serial Communications API. It takes a few seconds to setup and you will get full control over your serial ports with just a few lines of code. Examples, complete documentation and friendly API make Serial Port Control simple to use even for a novice programmer. Serial Port Control enumerates all serial ports known to Microsoft Windows (multi-port boards, ports on devices attached to USB, IrDA, Bluetooth, Firewire or any virtual ports).
